Our “common sense garden” was born in 2018, as a response to the need to be self-sufficient and to the pleasure of offering our products to guests. Everything grows according to nature, without plowing, without fertilizing and without using pesticides. Our contribution is only the use of hay to mulch the soil, the (little) time to water, the love in sowing and transplanting: in short, “elementary” agriculture.

We learned this system from our teacher Gian Carlo Cappello. Together with him we organized two very interesting events on the farm:

• an elementary cultivation course
• a course on respectful pruning of the olive tree.
